  1. sex within a marriage is great and awesome! but at the same time i am tired of people trying to make sex outside of marriage sound so bad! These kind of people make it sound like that if you have sex before marriage that you are “evil” when in reality they are doing nothing but force feed you and brainwash you into thinking sex is bad if you’re not married. Christians are supposed to love and be accepting, they are supposed to let you make your own decisions and also look at both sides. You can not just take one angle on a subject (sex before marriage) and not look at it from both sides(good and bad). YOU CANT HAVE IT BOTH WAYS. if you believe in the word of god and are a true Christian than you all must stop making it sound so bad. You do not have the power nor the right to instill what you believe into other peoples heads. You are NOT GOD. let them make those decisions for themselves.

    1. Good thought in theory, sarah, but the assertion that sex outside of marriage is destructive comes directly from scripture. You say that if I believe in the Word of God and am a true Christian, I must stop making it sound bad. On the contrary, as a Bible-believing Christian, it is important to recognized the truth contained therein.
I think the point you’re really trying to make is that as Christians we should not judge people based on their actions. I cannot and should not determine a person’s relationship with the Lord or eternal destiny based on how they have sex. That’s an important point. However, the Bible is very clear about the destruction that improper sexual relationships can wreak not only on you and your partner, but also your relationship with the Lord. As someone who has personally fallen into this area of sin, I know first-hand the damage it did to my relationship with God. I always knew he was loving and forgiving, but I found myself rebelling and avoiding him, his word, and his wisdom. I’m thankful that other Christians pointed out my area of sin, it was the most loving thing they could have possibly done, and I don’t think it’s an exaggeration to say that other people pointing out my sin as “evil” actually saved my life.

    2. To get some answers try listening to some of Ray Comfort’s discussions on the website, “Way of the Master”. I suggest “Hell’s Best Kept Secret” for beginning.

  2. God’s law’s are written on the hearts of Christians. Nothing will change that. When a Christian breaks a law, he is convicted by the Holy Spirit and asks for forgiveness. A non- Christian has not asked for Jesus to enter his heart, therefore he knows not the conviction of the Holy Spirit. A Christian is to look at a non-Christian as a child of God and to treat him as such. Jesus came down to Earth so that we would not go to hell. We are drawn to God only by Him. Why would anyone not want to be in the comforting arms of Jesus? This world is a short visit, and Jesus promises that if you believe in Him, you will have eternal life.
