For ten years BibleMesh has helped pastors, missionaries and church members study God’s Word. That work continues in the Alexandrian Institute, with new certificates in Bible, theology, Greek and Hebrew starting 25 January 2027.

What's Changing?
BibleMesh has offered trusted theological education to students around the world for many years. As we have grown, we’ve focused our teaching and programs in conversation with the Great Tradition, which led us to launch the Alexandrian Institute in 2026. We are now bringing the BibleMesh Institute fully into the Alexandrian Institute.
From 25 January 2027, BibleMesh Institute certificate courses continue in the Alexandrian Institute, and current students can carry on their studies in the Spring 2027 semester.
We are no longer accepting applications or enrollments for the BibleMesh Institute or BibleMesh self-study courses. If you’d like to study with us, explore the Foundations Reading Groups, the Pillars Certificates (launching January 2027), or our degree programs at the Alexandrian Institute.
Introducing the Alexandrian Institute
The Alexandrian Institute is the next chapter for the team behind BibleMesh. We help Christians read Scripture and think theologically alongside the church’s great teachers, from Athanasius and Augustine to the Reformers, guided by expert tutors and studying with learners from around the world. Our degrees are awarded by Union Theological College, Belfast.

Graduate-level courses in Bible, theology, Greek and Hebrew, and the natural next step for BibleMesh students. Study at your own pace within each semester, with a live tutorial every two weeks.

FAQ
The BibleMesh Institute is becoming part of the Alexandrian Institute, which was launched by the same team in 2025. BibleMesh Institute courses finish on 31 December 2026, and its certificate programmes continue in the Alexandrian Institute from the Spring 2027 semester, starting 25 January 2027.
Carry on as usual with your teaching fellow. All coursework must be completed by 31 December 2026. If you have finished the online portion but still owe written work, you can submit it to your teaching fellow until 31 January 2027.
- Complete the Interest to Continue form now.
- Submit a simplified enrollment request between 14 December 2026 and 11 January 2027. As a continuing BibleMesh Institute student, you won’t need to provide a faith statement or references again.
- Pay for your Spring 2027 course by 22 January 2027.
- Your course opens on 25 January 2027.
Courses run in 14-week semesters (Spring, Summer and Autumn) rather than rolling monthly enrollment. You still work at your own pace, but all assignments and online assessments are due by the end of the semester. Instead of one-to-one check-ins, your tutor leads a one-hour live online tutorial for your class every two weeks.
$990 per course, covering the full semester. That’s less than a typical four-month BibleMesh Institute course at $280 per month. You can pay in full, or pay 50% up front and the remaining 50% halfway through the semester.
Yes. Alexandrian Institute certificate courses carry 3 credit hours each and transfer to the same partner schools and programmes as BibleMesh Institute courses. The Alexandrian Institute is also developing a route for these courses to count directly towards a degree awarded by Union Theological College.
Complete the Transcript Request form by 1 May 2027. We’ll send your transcript to you and, if you ask, to your partner school. After 1 May 2027, transcripts covering BibleMesh courses are issued by the Alexandrian Institute.
We’re no longer selling BibleMesh self-study courses, and existing self-study access ends at the end of December 2026. For a small number of courses, you may be able to move into a Pillars Certificate and keep your progress. Contact admissions to check.
