Storyline Bible Available for Purchase

MORRISTOWN, N.J.—The NIV Storyline Bible—a resource showing how God’s Word is a unified story woven together from Genesis to Revelation—is available for order.

Published by Zondervan, the NIV Storyline Bible features content from The Biblical Story course developed by BibleMesh, an online course that shows how the Bible presents the narrative of God’s loving and redemptive acts to reveal the promised Messiah … it is One God, One Book, One Story.

“Nine years ago, I helped create a BibleMesh course that surveyed the entire biblical story,” said BibleMesh contributor Tim Keller, founding pastor of Redeemer Presbyterian Church in New York. “I am thrilled that now that material is being published as a study Bible in the bestselling NIV translation . . . I’m really quite excited that this project has come to fruition, and I believe it will be a blessing to many, many people around the world.”

The NIV Storyline Bible features:
— Book introductions that provide a “Storyline” perspective on how each biblical book relates to the rest of Scripture.
— Over 180 smaller articles that explore Scripture using an applicational perspective.
— Topical feature indexes.
— More than 200 full-color photos, graphs, and charts.
— Full text of the NIV translation.

NIV Storyline Bible articles are organized according to seven historical eras in Scripture: Creation, Patriarchs, Moses, Israel, After Exile, Jesus, and The Church. More than 200 major articles explore theological principles, events, biblical characters, and cultural and political influences on the people of Israel.

“With biblical illiteracy at an all-time high, the NIV Storyline Bible provides the essentials to begin the wonderful journey of loving and knowing God more,” BibleMesh founder and publisher Emmanuel Kampouris said. “Our hope is that you will experience what the disciples on the road to Emmaus did as Jesus explained to them what was said in all the Scriptures concerning Himself – ‘Were not our hearts burning within us while he talked with us on the road and opened the Scriptures to us?’ (Luke 24:32).” “We strongly believe our collaboration with Zondervan honors this purpose. I am delighted that we are extending the reach of God’s Word.”

Among contributors to the NIV Storyline Bible are an international team of pastors and scholars, including the BibleMesh editorial board.
