Timothy Bertolet

Timothy Bertolet currently serves with the missionary sending agency ABWE International, located in Harrisburg, PA. He has also served as youth, and then a senior pastor at two different churches, and earned a PhD in New Testament Studies from the University of Pretoria.

Susan Booth

Susan Booth serves as the Professor of Evangelism and Missions at the Canadian Southern Baptist Seminary & College in Cochrane, Alberta, Canada. Susan and her husband Steve are under appointment with the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention.
Dr. Mark Dubis

Mark Dubis

Mark Dubis is Professor of Biblical Studies at Union University in Jackson, TN. He is the author of 1 Peter: A Handbook on the Greek Text among other publications. He has a particular passion for biblical and ancient languages, having taught Greek, Hebrew, and Latin for many years.

Timothy Gabrielson

Timothy Gabrielson is Assistant Professor of Biblical Studies at Sterling College in Kansas. He enjoys engaging the Bible, both academically and personally, with students. He is married to Amy.

Lainey Greer

Lainey Greer is an author, speaker, and personal trainer with over 10 years experience working in the local church. Her masters in Christian leadership and PhD in theology were formative to her academic journey. She is most passionate about how Scripture addresses the human body.

Dennis Greeson

Dennis Greeson is Dean of the BibleMesh Institute and Research Fellow in Public Theology for The Land Center for Cultural Engagement. He teaches and writes on theology, culture, and public square issues.

Hunter Hanson

Hunter Hanson serves as the pastor at Excell Baptist Church in Clarksville, Tennessee. Originally from Pass Christian, Mississippi, Hunter completed an MDiv and ThM in Biblical Studies from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky.

Brant Himes

Brant Himes is an Associate Professor in Humanities at Los Angeles Pacific University and is the Young Adults Coordinator at Westside Church, where he lives with his family in Bend, Oregon. His teaching, writing, and ministry coalesce around equipping both the academy and the church.

Christopher Hlavacek

Christopher Hlavacek serves as the Associate Vice President of Finance and teaches Old Testament & Hebrew at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC.

Wade Hobbs

Wade Hobbs has been in ministry for almost 40 years. Wade is a Teaching Elder at City Church in West Columbia, SC and is also the US Executive Director and global Vice President of The Task, a missions movement among unreached people groups.

Shawn Langley

Shawn Langley is a Research Fellow at the Kirby Laing Centre for Public Theology in Cambridge, England. His writing focuses on the relationship between philosophy & theology, particularly the way epistemological questions shape and are shaped by biblical interpretation.

Dougald McLaurin

Dougald McLaurin is a Native North Carolinian. He is active in a local church and serves an the Assistant Professor of Missions and Ministries and the John and Allie Fogelmann Professorship of Religion at Louisiana Christian University.

Graham Michael

Graham Michael is the Director of Discipleship and Campus Ministry at St. David’s School in Raleigh, where he also teaches humanities, Bible, and Greek. He and his wife, Susan, have four children and are members at Vintage Church in Downtown Raleigh, where he serves as an elder. 

Lauren Moore

Lauren Moore grew up in Australia and currently serves with Pioneers and WEC in Basque Country, South West France, working in church-planting ministries with the Federation of Evangelical Baptist Churches of France (FEEBF). 

Richard Patton

Richard Patton is an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church in Ireland. He is currently serving as Preaching Assistant at Knock Presbyterian Church in Belfast. He has an MTh from Union Theological College, Belfast and is currently a PhD student at UTC .

Briley Ray

Briley Ray is the Assistant Director of Course Design for the BibleMesh Institute and lecturer at Samford University for the Core Text Program in Birmingham, AL. His research interests concern Medieval history and doctrine, particularly the soteriology of St. Thomas Aquinas.

David Roach

David Roach

David Roach is pastor of Shiloh Baptist Church in Saraland, Alabama.  He is a church historian and journalist, and teaches across the theological disciplines at several Christians colleges and seminaries. His writing has appeared in Christianity Today and Baptist Press among other outlets. 

Gregory Soderberg

Gregory Soderberg

Gregory is a teacher, writer, and speaker. He teaches online with Logos Online School and served as the founding Academic Dean for LAMP Seminary RDU in Raleigh, NC. He has 20 years of experience teaching various subjects in the humanities, and earned a Ph.D. in historical theology at Vrije Universiteit of Amsterdam.

Jordan Steffaniak

Jordan Steffaniak is a PhD candidate in Philosophy at the University of Birmingham, UK. He is married with two sons. He is co-founder of the London Lyceum, a weekly podcast and online center for analytic, baptist, and confessional theology.

Michael Urton

Mike Urton currently serves as the team leader for Immigrant Ministries Chicagoland.  He has worked among the Muslim and Muslim Background Believer population of Chicago for over two decades. 

Courtney Veasey

Founder and director of Brunch Ministries, Courtney Veasey brings nearly twenty years of public Bible teaching experience to those she serves through Christian enrichment and leadership focused events.

Drew Yancey

Drew Yancey is an adjunct professor of theology at Denver Seminary and author of Transforming Enterprise? Drew is an avid traveler (having visited nearly 40 countries) and proud sixth-generation northern Coloradoan where he lives with his amazing wife and three kids.

Philemon Zachariou

Philemon Zachariou is a native Greek and retired Greek professor. He currently develops New Testament Greek instructional material, is an adjunct professor of English at Northwest University, and a BibleMesh Greek tutor.

Timothy Bertolet

I was born into a Christian family and made a profession of faith at a young age. As a teenager I felt God’s calling into ministry when I was given a chance to teach a short Bible sermon at a youth group event. At fourteen, my family moved to the mission field and I got to experience a number of different cultures on the island of Guam. I continued to pursue my calling to ministry by attending Lancaster Bible College and Westminster Theological Seminary. At Bible college, I fell in love with theology and New Testament studies. After seminary, I served as youth, and then a senior pastor at two different churches. Along the way, the Lord allow to be fulfill my lifelong dream of getting a PhD in New Testament studies. I currently serve with the missionary sending agency ABWE International, located in Harrisburg, PA.

Lauren Moore

Lauren grew up in Australia and currently serves with Pioneers and WEC in Basque Country, South West France, working in church-planting ministries with the Federation of Evangelical Baptist Churches of France (FEEBF).  She is also a doctoral candidate at Union School of Theology (Wales) and VU Amsterdam, studying Roman Catholic Mariology from an Evangelical perspective and is a fellow of the Rome Scholars’ and Leaders’ Network.

Richard Patton

My current research is in the work of the Holy Spirit upon Christ and his Church as understood by John Owen in his seventeenth century context. My Masters thesis was on John Calvin’s Christology compared to that of John Chrysostom from the book of Hebrews.

Personal hobbies/interests:
My hobbies include running, cooking, and watching films. I’m an avid devotee to the works of Tolkien and Lewis and reread them often.

I am passionate that both ordained and lay members of congregations are fully equipped with theological knowledge and passion to fulfil the calling God has placed upon them.

David Roach

David Roach is pastor of Shiloh Baptist Church in Saraland, Alabama. Gregory Soderberg

Full Bio:

Gregory is a teacher, writer, and speaker. He teaches online with Logos Online School and served as the founding Academic Dean for LAMP Seminary RDU in Raleigh, NC. He has 20 years of experience teaching various subjects in the humanities, and earned a Ph.D. in historical theology at Vrije Universiteit of Amsterdam. He holds a B.A. in Liberal Arts and Culture from New St. Andrews College. After studying at Reformed Theological Seminary, he earned a M.A. in Church History from the University of Pretoria. He also studied liturgical theology at Trinity Theological College. He has spoken at conferences in the US, Germany, and South Korea and has served in a wide range of ministries and non-profits. He loves investing in students and leaders of all ages through teaching, writing, and speaking. He aims to help people learn lessons from the past, to inspire them to live wisely in the present.

He is married to a wise and godly woman, with five rambunctious children, who all serve with Safe Families for Children. He has volunteered with many ministries and non-profits, ranging from prison ministry to a community partnership between local churches and law enforcement. He loves investing in leaders for the local church. His passion is to help churches and ministries design, develop, and implement strategic opportunities to equip, connect, and serve, both locally and globally.

Michael Urton

Mike Urton currently serves as the team leader for Immigrant Ministries Chicagoland.  He has worked among the Muslim and Muslim Background Believer population of Chicago for over two decades.  In that time, he has helped to launch and give leadership to the Muslim Background Believer Fellowship of Chicagoland (MBBFC) as well as assist local churches in engaging Muslim communities.  He has co-led COMMA (Coalition of Ministries to Muslims in north America) both nationally and regionally.

Mike completed his Doctor of Ministry project on the topic How Local Evangelical Churches in the Chicago Metro Area are Engaging Muslim Communities and is the co-author of Journey to Jesus: Building Christ Centered Friendships with Muslims, as well as being published in multiple journals. Why I teach with BibleMesh Institute:
I am excited about the opportunity to train missionaries in quality theological education through an accessible model.  This model allows them to move forward in the ministry that God has called them to without leaving their place of service or taking time away from their preparations to go to the field.

I believe the training that they will receive from BMI will help to ground them in biblical faith, as well as give them a depth of theological training out of which they can minister.  I see this as important for both longevity in ministry and giving them the theological and biblical tools to navigate questions and challenges that will arise in their ministry contexts. Overall, I believe this will contribute to the fulfilling of the Great Commission through churches being planted and ministries being launched among all nations for the glory of God.

Courtney Veasey

Founder and director of Brunch Ministries, Courtney Veasey brings nearly twenty years of public Bible teaching experience to those she serves through Christian enrichment and leadership focused events. Her ministry service also includes local church, parachurch, and academic posts previously held in Florida, Louisiana, South Carolina, and California. Courtney is a true crime enthusiast and condiment aficionado.

Drew Yancey

As a dually engaged theologian and business executive, Drew lives out a passion for practical theology. He has over a decade of strategy consulting and executive leadership experience across multiple industries, helping clients solve challenging problems at the nexus of risk, strategy, and innovation.  His career started in the food industry, where he was the Director of Strategy for a Top 50 Foodservice Distributor, helping lead the company through its acquisition by a Top 5 Distributor. He then became CEO and led the turnaround of a produce merchandising and distribution company. After that, he was a consultant at Clareo, helping Fortune 500 clients create new growth paths. Drew has a Master of Divinity from Denver Seminary, an MBA from Texas A&M University, and a PhD in religion from the University of Birmingham (UK). He is an adjunct professor of theology at Denver Seminary and author of Transforming Enterprise? Drew is an avid traveler (having visited nearly 40 countries) and proud sixth-generation northern Coloradoan where he lives with his amazing wife and three kids.

-The development of the historical Greek sounds with special focus on the phonological features shared by New Testament Greek and Neohellenic.
-New Testament Greek word study with special emphasis on features that show closer affinity to Neohellenic than to Classical Greek.

Personal hobbies/interests: Writing, music, and reliving childhood through my grandchildren.
