A new course available through BibleMesh helps believers confront the unique challenges of presenting Christ to Muslims.
The “Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus” course incorporates the powerful story and arguments shared in the book Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus. Within this course, late author Nabeel Qureshi, a former Muslim, introduces students to effective evangelism strategies among Muslims from a position of respect and an understanding of Muslim history, culture, and beliefs.
The course presents core areas of disagreement between Christian and Muslim teaching, encouraging students to grow in their own faith and deepen their compassion for those who do not yet know Jesus as Savior.
During June and July, students enrolled on BibleMesh in this Zondervan Academic course can benefit from mentorship and support by Arab World Ministry (AWM) field workers, who understand the importance of cross-cultural training and have “on-the-ground” knowledge of sharing Christ with Muslims. AWM is a ministry of the mission organization Pioneers focusing on church planting among Muslim people groups of the Arab world. Upon enrolling in “Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus,” students will be placed in the AWM-Pioneers class group where mentors will facilitate discussion and be on hand to answer questions.
The course comprises instructional videos, readings, reflection questions, and quizzes. Students also benefit from the Cerego learning system to improve knowledge retention. Among topics covered:
